Contributions and Donations

The Oregon Chapter of the American String Teachers Association is a voluntary,

non-profit organization that supports the Oregon and SW Washington string community.

Your gifts of support to the general fund or to specific events ensure quality

strings education for diverse populations of young people in Oregon and southern Washington.

OR-ASTA annual events include:

  • State Solo Competition (Nov. 2024)

  • Honors Recital (March each year)

  • Summer Scholarships

  • Masterclasses and Clinics

  • Grants (annual proposals from members)

  • Biennial OR-ASTA Strings Conference (Fall 2023)

  • Masterclasses and Clinics

  • OMEA Audition workshops, and much more!
