Oregon ASTACAP 2026
REGISTRATION open through March 25th at 11:59 PM Pacific time. No refunds after April 3. In-person exams take place on April 25 & 26, 2026 at Portland State University. Video auditions for those living outside Portland metro area are due April 20th by 11:59pm Pacific time.

About the Event
ASTACAP INFORMATION
The American String Teachers Association Certificate Advancement Program (ASTACAP) provides a comprehensive curriculum and program of examinations designed to serve string teachers and their students in the United States. ASTACAP establishes and defines national goals for string students at all levels and of all ages. Students are evaluated on technical and musical achievements, receiving a written comments and grade, and awarded with a certificate for successful completion of each level.
